Hi Guys,

I am Chemical Engineer, with past 6 years worked as chemical engineer and now changed my stream and working as Software consultant from last 4 years(recent).

Under which profile i should create my express entry
1. Under Chemical engineer or
2. Under Software consultant

WES evaluated my credential as chemical engineer.

Please guide.
Thanks.

Doesn’t matter. As long as u at least one year of continuous full time or equivalent amount of part time experience in any of them u r good to go. 1year full time equals 1560 hours

What matters is making sure your duties in your reference letter match the ones in your specific NOC.
So choose the one for which you can have the best reference letters, as anyway the maximum CRS points you get for work XP is 3 years.

if i'm getting references letter of both NOC's can i apply in both of them together in single profile ?

You need to fulfill all minimum requirements for one NOC only, and have that as primary NOC.
In addition to that, you can add other work experiences in other NOCs to accumulate points for years of work XP. But the main needs to be continuous, paid, part/full time, 1560h/year, at least 1 year...etc.

If you have acceptable letters in both NOCs, I will recommend using the more recent NOC as your primary. But if the previous job is within the last 10 years, that one can also be used.
