Unauthorized work on restoration status

My student permit expired on april 30. I received completed letter from university on may 29 so i applied pgwp on may 31.
i was not knowing that i m on restoration status so i worked from aug 1 to oct 8 without knowing it illegal .
So should i inform ircc t

So was PGWP even approved because you needed to stop working on April 30 if you hadn’t applied to extend permit. When did you restore status?

I pay the restoration fee and attached the receipt with my pgwp application. I applied on may 31. Still waiting for decision

So all you can do is wait but you were not allowed to work.
