“Have you remained beyond the validity of your status, attended school without authorization or worked without authorization in Canada?”
Here’s the situation:
We are preparing for my Dad extension to VR or other status this 2025.
March 2022 - My dad applied for a SOWP extension before his current status expired, so he was on implied status. Unfortunately, the SOWP was refused on August 21, 2022 due to insufficient documents.
The refusal letter from IRCC stated that he is eligible for restoration of status. We submitted a restoration application in November 2022, which was approved in 2023.
During this timeline should we answer “Yes” or “No” to the question above?
