Hi all, having a slight problem with employer reference letters and was wondering if anyone could help.

In my original application I included an employer whom did not affect my score and was only an employer for a short period of time.

Upon getting an invitation to apply, I have not been able to get a reference of employment from this employer. Is it better for me to remove this employer from the application entirely and submit with other employment history I have or to include it and instead of uploading a reference letter, instead upload an explanation that I was not able to gain any reference of this employer ?

I am worried that an inconsistency between my original application and the one I submit following my invitation to apply will mean a rejection for PR ! Does anyone have any experience with this or advice on what to do, would be greatly appreciated !

You can remove it as long as it doesn't affect your CRS score or eligibility if you're applying under the FSW program.

Explain the reason in a LOE.

Sorry just to clarify, in my personal history section should I list that time when I was with that company, as unemployed or say I was employed, but leave it out of my work history ?

List as employed in personal history - do not include it in work history.

Del Pierro,

Could you please clarify how can I know whether my CRS will be affected or not. Shall i delete it and proceed further where they calculate and show if there is any difference ? and then make a call ?

FYI, currently my total experience shown is of almost 8 years.Removing the current experience where i have difficulty getting the reference letter would bring my total experience down to 6.5 yrs.

Please advice.
