Hi,

I have tried each and everything to attach my application with mycic but I always get an error record not found etc and after 5 attempts they ban me for 24 hours. Can anyone Help?

Update
This trick worked for me

The combination of information that I used to find the application (finally) was:

1. Logged in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. I am sponsoring my husband, no dependents.

It popped up saying 1 application was found. Hope this helps someone trying to link their account.

Thanks to lalicatter who commented on some other.

I was able to link our application in MyCIC by using the applicant's personal details, passport information and the city we will live when landed. Just make sure your MyCIC entries match exactly what you have written in the app. I suggest you copy from the app and paste into MyCIC.

Have you tried using the UCI from your AOR1 letter and sponsor's details?

Sponsor's info doesn't work with MyCIC, only the PA's.

My suggestion is to use the application "F" number and Family name, city and country of birth, the landing city and province you listed on your IMM0008, marital status, and number of applicants. Be sure to count your sponsor as one of the applicants!

try to use a space for city of birth.
that's what worked for me.
