UCI Number query

Hi all,

This is the first time that I would be applying for Canadian immigration. Until a few days back my application didn't have a UCI number, I was cross checking this before going for upfront medical exam.

I am yet to submit my eAPR application , however, when I logged back into my application this week I can see that a UCI has been generated. I just wanted to check what does it mean? I tried finding similar post on this forum but couldn't find one, any pointers will be most useful.

Maybe one was created for you, but that is not a problem, complete the profile.

The UCI is generated whenever you submit your express entry profile.

Alright... Earlier it used to appear only once you submit your application. So strange, but I read on FB that someone else also had mentioned that they got UCI before ITA.
For me, post AOR, my UCI was generated, which meant that CIC has received my Application for PR and they have started processing it.
