Hi everyone,

Has anybody gone through UBC CP3 program pre-registration? or a similar UBC program?
I've found conflicting information about the pre-registration process.

In the official checklist of required documents (https://library.bcpharmacists.org/7_Forms/7-1_Pharmacist/9009B-AppPreReg_IPG_Checklist.pdf):
- Notarized copy of evidence of your authorization to work in Canada

Whereas, on another official page (https://cpd.pharmacy.ubc.ca/programs/international-pharmacy-graduate-ipg/fees):
- Confirmation of program acceptance from CP3 is needed in order to apply for Study/Work Permits from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)

So, we need a work permit to pre-register, but we need to be pre-registered to get a co-op work permit, unless we already have a PR, which are currently not issued to outlanders who are not US residents.

I was 80% sure this was an error so I sent an email to UBC, but they confirmed that a "Notarized copy of evidence of your authorization to work in Canada" is a requirement for pre-registration.

What do you think?

They also confirmed that some of the documents already submitted to PEBC have to be submitted again, translated and notarized. I thought that might have been a case where they forgot "if applicable" too.
