UAE PCC Validity-Do I Need to Apply Again???

Hi Seniors

I need advise for UAE PCC.

I lived in Abu Dhabi from 15 May 2015 to 2 August 2016. Before leaving the country I have applied for PCC and received it on 28th July 2016 ( 5 days before I left).
I have never revisited UAE again.

Planning to submit my PR application in March 2017 , please help me in resolving following queries:

1. How many month old PCC is valid for CIC to consider the PR application?
2. Since I never returned to UAE, ideally this proof should be enough to be consider or do I need to provide PCC for those 5 days as well?

Please help.

1 - 6 months if you reside in the country - if you don't reside in such country it is valid is you obtained it after the last time you lived in that country.
2 - Maybe.

Since you do not need a request letter to obtain UAE PCC, I would recommend you to obtain a new UAE PCC.
You don't need to submit finger-prints now since they are already recorded in their system. Send your documents via email to your friend/relative in UAE and ask them to apply on your behalf. They should collect it and send it to you.

Hi,

I have to get a UAE Police Certificate and I'm based in Toronto, Canada.

Can someone please explain the process:
1. a set of fingerprints certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy (Where and how can I get this done? How long does it take?
2. Basically, one has to complete a fingerprint form, get it notarized and submit it to the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) in Ottawa (Where do I get it notarized from? )
