There are numerous issues with the UAE PCC. The information is scattered so thought will start a thread for it with my issue to start out with.
I was in the UAE for more than 6 months but all the while on a visit visa. I have applied through JK consultancy for a PCC from UAE. However there are a few issues
1. From what I have read on the net UAE do not provide PCC for people who were on a visit visa? If they do not then what can be done?
2. It takes at least 3-4 weeks as I understand from the consultant to get the PCC (that is if they get it) in the mean time for me to enable my submission they have given me a letter from them that they have applied for it. Will this suffice as proof for me to submit? Currently the consultant has informed its with the Dubai police. All signatures from UAE embassy and MEA have been completed but they do not have a copy of the application.
Any help would be appreciated as I need to submit the application urgently as my IELTS is expiring in 2 weeks.
