UAE Entry / Exit Record for Visitor

Hello All,
I never had UAE work visa only visited UAE as visitor.Does UAE give Entry/ Exit record for Visit visa also or these visits are not captured in Entry/ Exit record. I am trying to find answer but till now no clear answer. have anybody done it?. please update.CIC is insisting to get this report.

yes, it is possible to get record of entry exit for visits to UAE. But I think you may have to have to go to UAE to get it unless you have some relative who can approach the immigration office and try, but that may or may not work. If your relative has some contact with some govt officials then possibly.

Thanks for your reply. I need a definite answer as I can plan a visit to UAE if they give for visitors.has anybody succeeded in obtaining it for Visit to UAE.

If you are visiting UAE then it is not a problem, go to the immigration department and request them and they should be able to give.

Every visitor entry/ exit is stamped in Passport. If you have used Egate then stamping may not be there. If you need for your records you can ask your sponsor/ relative in UAE. You can ask in UAE embassy in Canada. You can call me if you need more details, as I came from UAE last year.

I used to live in the UAE with my husband more than 5 years ago. I am now in Canada and was requested to get my Entry/Exit as I applied for PR renewal from UAE. I am in compliance now having stayed 2 years in a row without travel.
If I manage to find an agent to obtain it:
1. When I make the request for 5 years going back, will UAE Naturalisation issue the last 5 years only or will they give the history of all my travel going back 10 years or more? I think they retain it forever!
2. Do I have to make a request for each passport I used to enter the UAE, or will they be able to capture my travel movements from any one passport?
3. I had once been resident of Dubai and another been resident of Abu Dhabi; shall one request capture Entry / Exit in Dubai and Abu Dhabi Airports and indeed all UAE airports?
Will appreciate if anyone who had obtained a record attach a copy of (after concealing the identification information), or send it Inbox.

They don’t give to anyone unless they have have your power of attorney or you go personally. No need to get separate, it will be given as one entry exit report for the time period you request. For both passports and different Emirates, they have a UID which is linked to your identity.

Yes which is a serious issue as I do not have anyone and UAE consulate in Ottawa sent me a very complicated process which involves also getting someone in UAE to request it.

1. Do you know if brief visits on my replacement passport that was never used to enter UAE, after having my residency cancelled svereal years aog on an old passport will also show up in the record? If you are not sure, please indicate..

2. If I define the time window, do they stick to it or extend it beyond the 5 years window? Someone wrote in other thread they give for 6 years backwards as a standard?

3. In your experience, you asked for 5 years backwards and is that what you got? Did the time window go beyond what you asked for?

I am asking because in many of the EU countries, Entry Exit records are given for a standard time window going backwards, it does not matter if you limit it to3 years or x years. They give every in/out on the record for pre-defined time window. In Canada, CBSA give what you ask for, I asked once for 8 years and I got it all and when I asked for 5 years, I got only 5 years..how is it in UAE?

If you have not entered UAE with the new passport then what is it you are looking for. ? Your later past is a bit unclear to me.

2- I asked for my last 5 year period and they gave me that, I had 2 passport during that period.

3- No , they did not give me report for the period I didn’t ask for.

I was also asked to obtain EXIT/ENTRY certificate from UAE in May 2017. I too had only visited Dubai on visit visas during my evaluation period. I had used two passports during the period. I asked my sister in Dubai to obtain the certificate. She got them without me providing any POA to her. Dubai immigration issued EXIT/ENTRY records based on passport numbers. You should also obtain records based on passports you held during your evaluation period whether you had visited there on one passport or two.

1. I am seeking to get the time window when I was residing in UAE only as Resident, not tourist or on transit.
2. So you were resident in UAE for more than 5 years and you got the 5 years you asked for only as does CBSA?
3. Would not they accept even a brother obtaining it?
