Has anyone exported their car from Canada (back) to US?
So, I recently moved from US to Canada… and got my car exported/imported.
I have done all the inspections etc, but have not registered my car in Service Ontario.
And now, I am thinking of making a U turn and going back to the US.
This was my first long trip to Canada, and my initial intent was to really move, but after spending few weeks here, I feel that even after I settle here, I will eventually try to go back to US anyways.
Long story short, now I want to take care of my car (either take it back into the US or sell it off in Canada I guess).
I am assuming that in order to export, I would have to register my car first. I can register my car here, but that will mean I will have to get my Ontario license, and that would mean surrendering my US license.. (which I am trying to avoid)…
I feel that exporting my car from Canada and then import into US ..(and knowing that I just exported it out of US less than 2 months back), is just odd…
What are my options…? Thoughts .. Ideas?
