Hello,
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics in Brazil (which I haven't gotten an ECA for yet but I'm sure it will be fine) and I am currently enrolled on a 1-year Culinary Arts program in a private school in Vancouver (which is a designated institution).
I was wondering if by the end of this program I will be able to select the option "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be a program of three or more years." on my application. I assume I will since my Canadian education suits all the following criteria:
However, it concerns me that the program I am currently enrolled on isn't related to my previous education and it is not an "academic" course. Also, I am not sure if it falls under the diploma or degree category, or none.
Could anyone please clarify that for me?
Thank you!

I was wondering if by the end of this program I will be able to select the option "Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be a program of three or more years." on my application. I assume I will since my Canadian education suits all the following criteria:
- English or French as a Second Language must not have made up more than half your study
- you must not have studied under an award that required you to return to your home country after graduation to apply your skills and knowledge
- you must have studied at a school within Canada (foreign campuses don’t count)
- you had to be enrolled full time for at least eight months, and have been physically present in Canada for at least eight months
However, it concerns me that the program I am currently enrolled on isn't related to my previous education and it is not an "academic" course. Also, I am not sure if it falls under the diploma or degree category, or none.
Could anyone please clarify that for me?
