Trying to get the rest of my PGWP! Help.

Hello everyone,

I graduated from my undergrad program here in Canada, then received my PGWP, but only for 1.5 years due to my passport expiration date. After working for about 1.2 years, I decided to go back to school for my masters.

Now, I'm about to finish my masters program and was wondering if I could get the rest of my PGWP(additional 1.5 years out of 3 years) Is this possible?

No - not possible. You only qualify to apply for a PGWP once and cannot break up the usage of that PGWP.

If you want to remain and work in Canada after you finish your Masters, you'll need to find an employer willing to give you a full time job offer and also an approved LMIA. You can then apply for a closed work permit tied to that employer.
