Hey guys I am 21 and just recently got back to Ireland after living 2 years in Alberta under the international experience Canada visa. I worked full time as a car sales man at a dodge dealership, just before my visa expired I was about to be promoted to a prime finance manager. I have a written and signed job offer from my employer, although car sales doesn't fall under classified skilled or semi skilled work.
At least 70% of my family are citizens of Canada and reside in Alberta, there's just not much for me here in Ireland anymore. My home is in Alberta. If anyone has any ideas or comments that would help me get on the right lines to get back permanently this time, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If your employer in Canada is able to obtain an approved LMIA, then you can apply for a closed work permit. Getting an approved LMIA will involve the employer proving no Canadian could be found for the role.

Alternatively, if the finance manager job you have been offered is skilled or semi-skilled (NOC A, B or 0), then you might qualify to apply for PR under the Alberta PNP program:

If none of the above works, then you can see if you can find a different employer who is able to offer you a job (and obtain an approved LMIA) to support one of the above paths.

Failing that, I supposed you could come to Canada as an international student. However this is a very expensive option and you would not be able to work full time.

It is unfortunate that you did not use your two years in Canada to get a skilled job in order to be able to apply for your PR. However, in your current situation, I think it may be best for you to get an education or complete an apprenticeship at home in order to have a better chance at applying for your immigration in Canada. Check what occupations and trades are currently in demand and pick something from there that you would like to do. The list may change before you are finished your training but with a job offer, you could at least get a work permit and go from there.
