Hi all,
I like to apply for TRV within canada for myself and family.

Status
myself - work permit
wife - open work permit
kid - visitor record

I tried filling the questionnaire but at some point I am not sure what to fill for my kid's status.

What is your family member`s current immigration status in Canada?

Temporary resident permit.
work

Visitor.

TRP is for people who are inadmissible to Canada.

Confused between Visitor and TRP

Bellaluna replied correct.
To make it more clear :

" A TRP (Temporary Resident Permit ) will help an inadmissible person gain entry to Canada, though only on temporary grounds. In other words, a TRP can only be used for entry to Canada as a foreign worker, foreign student or as a visitor but not for any permanent residency processes."

Thx for the inputs.

Have tried applying in online for myself and family(wife and kid) all together.But after filling the come to canada tool.It shows 5257 document for myself which is correct but in my wife and kids case its showing other inappropriate documents.I guess it leads to work renewal for wife and visitor extension for kid which is wrong.

Individual Case:
So thought of filling individual file for three of us.But again there is an issue in that.myself and wife are holding work permit so its showing right document(imm 5257) but for my kid its showing visitor extension documents.

So like to know how to get trv within canada for visitor record ppl.

Have gone through many previous canadavisa posts but so far noone is sure abt the process.Some are saying visitor record ppl has to get trv from their home country.
