I applied to exhibit in a big Fashion Event in Canada.
I book a booth space and pay about 1000 dollars to book.
I attach all required documents including Visa recomendation letter from event.
My application was refused after 50 days process time.

there were two objections

1- Travel History
(even I have been visited many coutries including EU)

2- Tie with Pakistan.
Even my bank statment was abt 80 Lac of 6 month transactions, Chamber letter, tax document etcc were attached.

SHOULD I REAPPLY EVEN JUST 50 MORE DAYS LEFT IN EVENT.

Hi there, the reasons for refusal given to you are very genuine as most people who apply from Pakistan and India are given the same refusal reasons. Like I mentioned in one of my earlier posts Canada is not a tourist friendly country as far as citizens from south asia are concerned . The reason is because a lot of people who go there on tourist visa end up staying there, they never come back. So they want to be sure if they end up giving you a TRV you have strong ties with your home country and you a have a strong travel history. Usually by travel history they are more concerned if you have traveled to the US. Normally if you can show a current US visa on your passport they will most probably give you a Canadian Visa.

If you re-apply they will give you the same reason for rejection. You cannot improve your current ties to your home country...and you cannot improve your travel history over night. You can however apply for a US visa and hope you get it then you can tell Canadian embassy that on your way to US you will be visiting Canada. Lately they have been very strict about giving Visitor Visas. People with very strong cases have been denied visas. You can however make sure that for "your ties to home country part" you can show them your business bank account, license, property papers your family members being here in pakistan etc....

I will personally suggest you not to re-apply and they take over 40-50 days to process application by that time your exhibition date will be gone...

Apply for US instead and maybe you can apply for Canadian visa for next yr's exhibition..

Good luck

I came to know that CHC in Islamabad or anywhere give special attention if some one reapply with strong documents immediate after refusal, and chanse gone higher if some1 do so.

no timeline you can re-apply as soon as you have more documents/extra piece of information to show the VO that will strengthen your case.
