TRV send passport but forgot to attach reference letter

Hi all,
After received the request of my original passport, I sent it two days ago but I just realized I forgot to attach that reference letter(the one with UCL and application number). I'd like to know is there any makeup things I can do for my mistake? What do they handle this case normally? Do u guys encounter similar situations before? Plz lemme know the result. Thx

It is up to the people in the VPC, they can "return to sender" or they can try to "match your profile".
