there is no such restrictions, you can enter the last day of your validity of TRV.

sometimes CBSA may ask how long will you stay in Canada? but I think that is very rare, they will just stamp the date and welcome you to Canada.
oh one more thing, they might ask you, if you brought any food, specially they ask us, people from south-east Asia. good luck.

They are similar process just apply a month before you visa expires. It is an easy to follow process on the CIC website.

if her visa is a multiple and if she goes back to home country, then yes she can re-enter Canada.

I will like to add something here. If the person stays in Canada for say 6 months straight, then decides to leave and attempts to come back after couple of weeks/months, he/she may be denied entry. The max time a visitor is supposed to spend in Canada on a TRV is 6 months in a year. So please double check that.

Please if any body can verify this fact?

Again I am not talking about Super Visa which allows parents/grand parents to stay for longer periods. Without getting an extension and unless you have a stamp validating your stay beyond the normal six month period, you cannot stay longer than six months in a year on a TRV. That is how I understand it. Remember the visitor is expected to "stay" not "live" in Canada.

agree with Canucks2013, friend of mine said that in 1 year you are allowed to stay maximum of 6 months, he probably read it somewhere.
better ther's number for CBSA and I think if you call and ask, they will tell you.
