HI ,

I got married in december 2011 . My husband is on a Work permit in canada . His PR is expected at the end of 2012. My husband has updated my info also in the PR file. I applied for a TRV in feb 2012 and it got rejected . The reason was that i will not return after my stay. We attached all the documents like : marriage certificates , finances etc. I want to knw should i apply again. If my husband and i will get PR this year , why will stay illegal in canada .

You guys were married in Dec 2011, that could have been another reason for them refusing TRV to you. In most cases like yours - Partner in Canada working or studying they have refused visas. Unless you guys were married for a long time and you have a sound job here, bank account, property, family in your home country then there is a chance they might have given you the visa but the success % is very less. You can re-try but again they will refuse you for the same reason. When your husband gets PR he will sponsor you under spousal sponsorship scheme and you can get PR (whatever the processing time is in your country/region) ...I have also applied for TRV in feb but still awaiting response tho I was married back in 2009. Which HC did you apply in? and I have already spent 5 years in Canada on a study permit but with TRV you can never be too sure...

AFAIK, chances for TRV are very slim for people who have already applied for PR or holds PR. You can try again but you should only try if there is an improvement in your application.. Like if you can provide some proof that you will return back to your home country...

Hi Ralo, your wife's visa was rejected too right?

you didnt apply? or are u just going to do the sponsorship thing?

That would certainly improve your application, but again, you should show how strong ties do you have with your country, like your family is there with you, you have properties, stable job (permanent, good pay etc)...
