I applied for TRV in 2014 got refused even though I had strong documents from both the ends. Embassy applied was Sri Lanka . I had 3 Asian country travel history back then. Now I'm ready to apply again on a business visa invitation to Canada , currently holding multiple one year schengen visa And usa 5yrs.

I would like to know if I should process my new application indicating my old UCI number ? .
Is there any chance I could obtain my Canada visa .

Thank you

Hi,

I would like to know if I should process my new application indicating my old UCI number ? .
Yes.

You must also mention about your previous TRV refusal in the application form (including visa refusals for any other country, if it's the case).

Your chances of getting a TRV would depend on your purpose of visit + financial situation + strong ties to Sri Lanka

Have you traveled on these Schengen and US visas?

Cheers

Thank you for the reply .

Il make sure il mention it, and I don't hold any other visa refusals.

Yes I have visited Europe few times and USA once beyond that I have travelled to china, hongkong,Kenya,Tanzania, india,Bangkok and Saudi Arabia.

You can include a Travel History explanation for each country visited/visa details + entry/exit dates + purpose of each visit (chronologically)

You must include an invitation letter from your Canadian host. This letter must state the dates and purpose of your visit + business history + why you must visit (and why not someone else) + accommodation/travel/living expenses + host company information (website, short description), etc.

The OP is applying for a Business visa. The format/details required for a business invitation letter are different from that of a typical invitation letter
