I applied online for Temporary Resident Visas (TRV) for me and my wife on August 16, 2018 within Canada. Both of us are staying in Canada under the work permit. I received the letter requesting my passport within one month (September 16), but my wife is yet to receive her letter. Meanwhile, she left Canada to travel home without a return visa. I am a bit worried about her return. When I called IRCC they informed me that the visa online application after July 19 is yet to be processed and the standard processing time is 107 day!. Why is it taking so long? Is there anybody else faced similar situation out there?
