TRV processing time expired

Hi all members. Can you tell me smth. about this issue?


My TRV processing time has passed (For my country application processing time is 39 days. 45 days already passed), but they haven't received any decision yet.

Statuses are the same: Review of eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check – We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.



Should I (or can I) contact them or do something?? Or just sit and wait patiently? :l

Processing time is an average only of the time it took to process previous application, some take less some take more. You can send them a msg through WebForm if you want.

Did you apply in canada? I am on the same boat my man.

thnx for your answers. I applied from outside of Canada. And i have received final decision today.
unfortunately i was refused. The reasons are:

> You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your or your host's income and assets.
>I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.

I'm going to collect some supporting docs and appeal.
