I've applied on the 20th of July for a TRV in Dusseldorf as I'm an Iraqi citizen living as Knowledge Migrant in the Netherlands, I'm going next month to US on Holiday and decided to drop by in Toronto, I explained that in letter which is the reason that I did not deliver any flights or hotel reservations.
They took my passport which surprised me and it has my US visa as well as long term UK visa, also I provide payslips, bank statement, my Dutch permit, apartment contract, etc... but no specific letter from my employer as I did not felt it's so important.
I asked them if it is possible to have multi- entry visa as I'm planning to visit Canada again next year for a fair which I gave them info about it.
The processing time is mentioning 9 days to process such as request and now it's over 3 weeks.
The problem is they took my passport and I might need it soon, any advise? any similar case or experience with the processing time in Vienna via Germany?
