TRV From Inside Canada - Normal Processing Time Has Passed

Applied on August 9, still pending review. Will let you know once I receive any updates.

Call-center advised they're still working on backlog from July 26, and that it might take up to 2 weeks before they start reviewing my application.

Hello, i have applied for my parent Visitor Visa (Not Super Visa) and below is my timeline.
Application submitted on July 15, 2019
Biometrics request July 15, 2019
Biometrics Done July 23, 2019
Biometrics received July 23, 2019

Since then i have not received any response from them. Is this sign of rejection? Is there anyone else who applied in the same timeframe and have not received a response?

In my case, I applied for TRV on August 18th, after getting my PGWP from Niagara Border and still waiting for the response.
I did contact the IRCC office but they said that they are processing applications submitted on August 11th. I am nervous as some of my friends who applied for TRV after PGWP got the PPR within 4 days of the application.

It's been over 10 days and I haven't received any updates into my account.

I got the same situation.. If you help me too., I sent my passport to ottawa from Surrey BC on 28 augest, Any idea after how many days I will get my passport back
