TRV Expires on 30-12-2022, planning to go to India and come back by 28-12-2022. Will it be a problem?

I am on my study permit and my permit expires on 30-07-2023. My TRV expires on 30-12-2022, I am planning to apply for a new TRV and go to India this week and come back by 28-12-2022. Can I do it? Will it be a problem? Please suggest asap

You should be fine - although you are cutting it a bit close in the event of any flight delays that land you in Canada after the 30th.

I was planning to book the return flight on 27th so, I can come back by 28th. What do you think I should do? Is it better to drop the plna?

It's your choice. You can certainly do as you've planned and hope there are no delays - or any delays are just a day or two.
