Hello to all.
I have a quick question regarding both my Temporary Resident Visa that i obtained back in 2019 and my Study Permit that i just got.
I applied for my study permit in August 2021 and got it approved in February 2022. I sent my passport to the IRCC in order to have the Counterfoil sticked on it, back in early March and just got it back today.
Everything is fine with my study permit but i also noticed that my TRV that i obtained back in 2019 and was valid until 2025, now have a stamp that says "Cancelled without Prejudice". I am a bit confused about it. I've had used that visa to enter Canada previously without any issues and as i said, the expiration year was 2025.
I've seen a couple of threads on this forum that says that is normal but the issue is that, i was planning to travel again to Canada in April to visit my Family for a couple of months before i start my classes in September but i don't know if i still can do that with my TRV cancelled because as far i know, i can only travel to Canada with my Study Permit 1 month prior to the beginning of my classes.
I would appreciate if someone that is familiar with a situation similar to this, can guide me.
