Best advice please,

Can I apply for TRV to visit my Brother in Canada stating in my SOP letter that I would travel with my 10 year old son that already has an unused TRV that will expire 2020 or I should apply without mentioning his details so that he and his mum can serve as my home tie.

Did you get a ban from previously not indicating that you had been refused for a US visa. What are your true intentions? You seem to be also trying to get your wife admitted to school in Canada.

You should always be honest with IRCC. IRCc can see that your son already has a visa. I would imagine there will concerns about your intentions after the multiple attempts to get to Canada.

Thank you Canuck78 , I did not get a ban. I replied to the procedural fairness letter and they realised I do mentioned my US refusal but I got refused . I got the GCMS file which stated that ,,insufficient funds , why did I decided to lodge when my brother is in Canada, travel history .

I have built my savings to up to close to 30K CA, travelled to Amsterdam and Germany with wife and son , my brother now has his own apartment because he was still a student staying with friends during my last application.

My intention is to visit my younger brother and return back . My Son got his TRV when he applied with my mother to visit my brother because he was staying with my mother then but my mother is now in UK. My son resides with me now and I don't want his TRV to expire without using it as it expires 2020.

This would be my second attempt to Canada and my wife got refused so I decided to put her school issues on hold.

Do you suggest I apply stating my son and i would travel together to visit my younger brother and return back by adding his TRV, school documents to my documents while my wife will remain back home

Always best to be honest with IRCC especially given that your our son already has his visa. IRCC would already consider the possibility that you intend to bring him to Canada.
