TRP - How to apply. Please guide | URGENT

My son was born outside of Canada, I had applied a TRV for him, which was denied by CHC. I am looking to apply for a TRP, Kindly advise the process and document to apply for an TRP.

Unfortunately, you did not mention what your status is in Canada. If you're a PR, I believe the route, for you, is to sponsor the child - it is highly unlikely that you will succeed with these other options. In that case, you certainly will have to sponsor the child. Unless your lucky to obtain a visa for the child, your self or your partner will have to return to Canada (without the child), and file the application. The good news is: child sponsorship is relatively quick, because there's less checks.

I believe, that is why you were denied the TRV.

Thanks, actually i have seen couple of post where people have applied for TRP, I was wondering if i can get TRP first than sponsor as my child is just 1 year old.

Use the TRV application form but state in a cover letter that you want to apply for a TRP based on that your TRV was denied and that it would be hardship on your family if you have to leave your wife and child behind while you go to Canada alone to sponsor your child. However, if the TRP is denied, you may have to do just that.
