Travelling while on work permit

Question, have any of you got a visa to another country while wating for your pr?
Does it delay your application? Am i even eligible to apply for a visa to another country?
I'm in Canada and applied for PNP and still waiting for the last 18 months. So i wanted to visit Europe & USA.

You are OK to travel. The only time where you shouldn't is if you are on implied status awaiting the decision on your work permit extension or renewal. In that case, if you leave Canada, you will lose your implied status.
