Travelling into the US with an expired card without having 730 days

Hello,

I am in Canada with an expired pr card, waiting until I have 730 days so I can reapply. Is it possible for me to travel to the US and back in any way? I can use my car or a rental, also I can have one of my parents (who are citizens) come with me, I think I remember reading somewhere that this helps somehow.

With an expired PR card, you will most likely have a problem with immigration but in the end, they will probably let you in anyway. Having your parent with you can help. Showing that you actually live in Canada can also help. If you are employed, get a letter from your employer stating you are employed there full time since such and such date.

However, the best would be to delay the trip until your PR status is back in order
