travelling inside Canada while waiting for PR

Hello,

If anyone could answer my question, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm hoping to visit Alberta, Calgary in the summer (from Toronto) (travelling by air). I am currently on a work permit and my Express entry PR application is currently in the works.

My question is, do I have to apply for some sort of visa to travel within Canada ?
I read it somewhere that you are required to have a valid visa to leave and enter Canada, but I'm not sure about travelling within Canada.

You do not need any visa to travel within Canada. Alberta is a part of Canada and does not require a separate visa to enter.
