Anybody recently travel back to canada as a protected person without PR. I am trying to find information from immigration but nothing is available for protected person class without PR.

You need to get a refugee travel document to travel abroad, as you can't get a national passport. Make sure to have your "Notice of Decision" from the RPD/RAD or "Positive PRRA decision" from IRCC/CBSA so that you can prove you have the right to come back to Canada. CBSA Officers will likely want to see any of those documents when you're trying to enter.

Yes, many people do travel and return to Canada before getting PR
People have used their Refugee Travel Document to travel and return to Canada while still waiting for PR without major problems.
must not travel to the country you claimed protection from. What is your concern?

I do have a valid RTD and notice of decision. I was just wondering because there is no information provided by canadian immigration regarding this.

IRCC doesn’t always clearly spell out every travel scenario but must not travel to the country you claimed protection from.
