Traveling with Invalid PR Card

Hello Everyone,
I have a query that I am traveling back to Canada after almost four years. I lived there for 7 months in 2014. My PR card will be invalid September, 2019. My card is valid now but it will not meet the requirement of two year stay within 5 years.
Will they stop me at the airport?
Will I be able to get extension for my PR card?

In order to board a plane to Canada your PR card must be valid. You will be let into Canada but you may be reported for not meeting your RO which could lead to your PR status being revoked. You can appeal. You can live in Canada without a valid PR card but will need to stay in Canada until you meet your RO (2 out of 5 years). No you can't get an extension on your PR card.
