Hi,
So I just sent my passport in after receiving the email for the ppr. I am an inland applicant and I live in Vancouver. I plan on visiting the us as soon as I get my passport back. However, I would be gone to Europe from there and then back to the us for a month. That's why I wanted to do a simple border crossing before for my landing and then leave on my vacation. However my pr card would not have arrived in a month ( my friend would post it to me)....can I enter Canada after being to the us n Europe just using my landing papers ???? Is there any chance even the slightest that if I try to drive n cross the border they refuse up let me in?
Thanks

I understand that we can cross the border with the passport and CoPR.
I will land soon, I will ask to the Canadian Border Officer

Hi

You can enter Canada at a land border on foot or in a private car without your PR card. You will not be refused entry.

Or you can delay your landing until you return from your vacation.

When you land, the border agent will stamp the immigration visa in your passport & will staple your CoPR to it. You can cross into Canada via land with that.
