Traveling to Canada on visit visa, during first time Super visa in processing Urgent!

Hi,
Am I allowed to travel on my multiple entry visit visa, during my Super visa is in processing.
Also can I do upfront medicals for my Super visa from my home country , and do the submission from home country, then travel to Canada on my visit visa.
Is it mandatory that should I stay in my home country ,till I receive decision on my Super visa.
