Traveling out of Canada

Hello Everyone,

I am planning on traveling out of Canada during Christmas break for 3 weeks. My application is in process and most likely in security and background stages. I was wondering if i travel out of country

1. Do i need to notify IRCC? considering in application they asked where i have traveled?
2. Will traveling increase the time for my application, considering they will have to verify all the stuff?

1. You don't need to inform them if you have all the required documents to enter back in Canada and your address is not changing.
2. No, as far as I know, it will not impact your application timeline.
