You won’t have issues boarding the plane but you also better hope there is not some sort of major issue like a big snowstorm that causes flight cancellations because you are cutting it very close.

Thanks, I like to think I'm fine too : ) Flying out from San Fran to Vancouver, probably ok and not regular east coast snow mayhem haha (edit.. I now remember last year there actually were tons of cancellations for YVR due to snowstorm)

I'm sure you've long since made it in - but for posterity, what I'd recommend for folks who are in a similar situation in the future is to get as refundable a plane ticket you can and in the worst case, if you are delayed until after your PR card is expired...

Fly into KBLI and from that airport head to Blaine, WA. From there you can cross the land border on foot or private vehicle - taxis are okay too. After that you can get a new cab to take you the rest of the way to Vancouver.
