I am from India and my PR was approved on 15 March 2020. I have received an email from IRCC which says as below,
"If your PR application was approved before or on March 18, 2020, you are allowed to travel to Canada. Please read about the public health measures below. If circumstances allow, we encourage you to continue to make plans to land in Canada in 2020."
My visa expiration date is on 11 Aug 2020. However, as per the current circumstances, I cannot plan my travel due to international flights not operating. Considering the current situation, I am not sure when will the international flights resume services.
I had raised a webform and I received the same response from IRCC which didn't have any clear answer on what happens if I cannot plan my travel. My question is, in case if I cannot plan my travel before my visa expiration (11 Aug 2020), will I still be able to travel after my visa expiration date. Can I use the same visa to travel later or do I have to get my visa stamped again with a new expiration date? Or do I have to inform IRCC about my delayed travel?
