It is going to be extremely difficult for your family to get TRVs from Yemen. It will be assumed that you will apply for asylum. Do you have significant liquid savings, have you traveled internationally to places like UK, US, Australia, etc.? Do you have family in Canada? What is your background when it comes to education and work? There may be an economic immigration program you can apply to. If anyone tells you they can guarantee a travel visa, that they can get you asylum from Yemen, they can get you a job if you pay them, etc. just ignore them. There are unfortunately many people who make promises so they can get paid but can’t deliver on those promises.

You must obtain a TRV (tourist visa) and travel to Canada. Once you are in Canada, you can apply for asylum.
Canada doesn’t give protection to travel to Canada. You claim asylum at a Canadian airport. You need to apply for TRV/visitor visas, be approved, and then when you land in Canada, you claim asylum.
