Travel History pairs inconsistent

Hi all,
For filling in the travel history, I am facing challenges forming "From-To" pairs, because my country of residence changed in 2014. I moved from India to the US in 2014.
All travel before 2014 is from India, and hence From-To pairs are easy.
But for 2014, I have "From" as Jul 2014 (when I left India and came to the US). What should the "To" be?
I traveled from the US to Europe in Jan 2015 after that.
So, should I have From: Jul 2014, To: Jan 2015? Because this is not correct as I did not return to my home location (India) in Jan 2015 (which I departed in Jul 2014), but instead traveled to a different country (Europe) from my new country of residence (US).
I also have multiple travels from the US after that. Hence, worried how I can show change of country of residence through these dates.

I don't know how correct this is but this is how I have done it.

When you are living in india.

Trip 1. from india to xxx
Trip 2. from india to xxx

I didn't mention the trip for moving to a new country. In your case it would be from India to US.

Trip 3. from us to xxx
Trip 4. from us to xxx

Then I made a list of all my trips in excel format including my 'one way trip' where I moved to a new country of residence and attached it in the LOE section.
