I am travelling in march and have been working on my PR card. Before I can apply I had to do a chnge name on my marriage certificate because their was a spelling error on it. They told me that it will take 8 weeks to do that. This is putting me in a very tight situation and I might not be able to get PR card before I travel.
So I will need a travel document. I am travelling to Switzerland for 3 weeks. I was wondering if I can get my travel document before I leive canada. I have been a landed immigrant since 1979. I have not travel outside canada more than 3 days in the last 5 years. they told me I have get a travel document from abroad and my office would be in Paris while I am in Switzerland. But I don' t want to travel all the way to Paris just to get a document. I was wondering if I can sented in from Canada. Please let me know.
