I did a short landing in canada last october and I am still awaiting my Initial PR card (delayed due to Photos/address issue) and now I am in USA.
Need to travel back to Canada and planning to file for a travel document at NY embassy. Does somebody know the following
1. What is the processing time for travel document at NY embassy? I will decide if I should go by Road or wait for travel doc so I can fly?
2. My 1 year old daughter is a US citizen and her PR card has also not come. Does she need a travel document ot go to canada?
I know US citizens dont need a visa in general but not sure if this changes after she became a PR. The reaosn I want to be sure on this is that I was told by airport agent during my landing that my Visitor visa to canada has became unusable after I got permanent resdence, I dont know if the same logic applies to citizens.
