hey everyone
I'm an EE engineer and currently finishing 2nd year degree. I study at the university of Nottingham and i would love to transfer for 3rd and 4th year to Canada but some of the Canadian universities are not partner with mine so i wanna know how is the condition for international students who wanna transfer from abroad. mostly universities provided information regarding the domestic transfer (Canadian-canadian universities), that is why i am a bit concern that its too late for me to apply. please help me with that.
much appreciate in advance

just to add on I am currently considering, University of Toronto, Alberta, Mcgill and other engineering based universities

Think you will find that most universities won't accept international transfer students especially in a structured program like engineering. I'd suggest finishing your program and doing a masters degree in Canada. You have also selected top tier universities so transferring into the program in 3rd year will probably be quite difficult. It is pretty difficult to try and transfer between Canadian universities without having to take extra courses and it is not very common. You would also have to convince CIC why you needed to transfer from your UK school while convincing them you have ties to your home country and plan to return there after graduation. They have obviously noticed that international students are favouring Canada over the UK especially since Brexit.

thanks for the reply.
I'm currently studying in Malaysia branch. I don't mind if they don't accept all my credits, my main reason is to pursue my degree in an engineering based university in a country that demand is high for electrical engineers. Please let me know if u have any suggestion.

You'll have to apply and speak to the individual universities as well as looking into what you will need to get a student visa (finances and strong ties to your home country/proof you will return).
