Transferring funds before moving to Canada?

Hi fellow, I’m about to move to Canada in few weeks. I’m wondering if I should open an International bank account before landing, this is to safely transfer the funds and have available when I’m there.

Scotia bank is offering a quick service by opening a bank account mentioning COPR and landing date. Does anyone has experience with this?
