Trainee experience in IT company

Hi All,

I have 3.5 years of experience in IT . During my tenure I have held 3 designations . the first designation was Assistant Systems Engineer - Trainee.

I have heard from people that in Canada the "Trainee" experience is not considered and if I still apply for PR my application would get rejected. Now, I am in two minds whether I should proceed with my application or decline the invite.
