My spouse's PR card processing is taking longer than anticipated, exceeding the usual service standards. Is there a method to track the status of the PR card to know if it's in process or mailed out?

I called IRCC and got the matter resolved and the got the PR card after a month. The reason for the delay was that PR card dept did not have a CA mailing address on file. The officer who did the landing assumed the address will be the one mentioned in the COPR but this info was probably not conveyed to PR card dept.
