I have also received my Passport back on 4th November. I have asked for an appointment for landing with the local office in Halifax. Not sure how long they will take. If it gets delayed will have to go to the border for flagpole. Does anybody know how long it takes for appointment with local CIC office?

hi based on our experience it will took 4-6 weeks before we can get the appoint in local cic here in calgary,thats why we decided to go to the border to do our landing

I sent my passports to CPP – Ottawa, 365 Laurier Avenue West, Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 by FEDEX from USA and it reached there Oct 21.
But, there is no update on my application login pages till now. Is this a problem? Should I contact them somehow?.
I have enclosed a self addressed FEDEX envelop paid for return.

Perhaps you should wait until the week #3 , since the average its one month. you can try to track the package (the prepaid one) to see when they send it back. the "fastest" way to contact them its via Email Case specific Inquiry. at least thats my advice

I finally received my passport with Magic Sticker...Just happy.

It was quite fast I guess..My passport was delivered on November 8th and my friend in TO received it today...Thanks to the officers for their job.

Once again, I would like to thank you all of your for your support and advices!!

Presently, I am on Employers Work Permit.
Submitted the application within Canada.
I got the CSQ and then applied for Federal.

Kindly find my processing details below (ECAS) -
1.We received your application for permanent residence on November 22, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on April 24, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

4. RPRF fees requested on May 30th 2013, Paid on June 1st 2013.

From then no updates till now..... Its almost 5 months over no further updates.
please share your experience of your application....
