I never received any email stating that my file was transferred anywhere. Anyway, my medical results were sent to Ottawa, since the Medical Panel is over there. Is anyone else in my same situation? Where do you think our files could be?

I don't think everyone received that transfer email. I have friends applied same date with me didn't received anything neither. I think our file should all in Ottawa since the status changed to in process.

Anser0131, i did, on April 22, 2013. I notified CPP-Ottawa via email, attaching receipt of payment and providing information about my application. CPP-Ottawa replied as reported hereafter:

"We have received your email sent to CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca<mailto:CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca> and we’ll update your information shortly. Please do not reply to this message. Replies to this e-mail will not be acknowledged as this email address is exclusively reserved for cost recovery.

Your application is going through the required assessment process and be assured that we dedicate all our efforts to processing the applications as quickly as possible.

I paid my RPRF with my application. I got the email. I called the contact center. They say if I already paid for it. All I need to do it wait...

I can check my application status in ecas in both ways: "permanent residence from within canada" and "permanent residence from outside canada".

Hi jagga, can you tell us what you asked them to verify if RPRF has been received? Whenever I made an inquiry of my file, they always said that all files tranferred to CPP-Ottawa were beyond their access. Thanks in advance

I just asked him to check if ottawa got my rprf, so he put me on hold for few seconds and said yes its paid. Dont be over polite with them. They just try to end up your call asap. Even though he didnt confirm me if my file is transferred to Ottawa.

So they do have access to files transferred to Ottawa. I wonder why they keep insisting you to email them (and obviously, it would take Ottawa weeks to reply most inquiries), or worse, send inquiries through regular mail
