CIIP is a free seminar funded by the Canadian Gov't which prepares newcomers (for federal skilled workers and Provincial nominees) for economic integration while still in their country of origin. Usually being offered during the final stage of immigration process. Most applicants received the invitation along with the Medical Request. This is voluntary by the way.

dear november friends. I need some feedback. I received RPRF request last week from VO Vienna.
BUT i paid the fee already online in advance because I thought that is convenient. I wrote an email with the receipt to the VO but didn't get a reply yet. I read on the website that I need to pay directly to them. they don't have a phone service just some automated voice menu.
now my question. shall I pay again to them and request a refund for the other online payment? shall I wait for their answer first?
how do I do the refund procedure? does anybody have an idea? comments are highly appreciated!

Hello Steffi,

There's absolutely no need to worry. CIC's system runs with a lag of least 3-4 weeks. A fees paid now will only be updated next month. No need to pay again or ask for a refund. My friend and I paid RPRF April 3 and he got his PPR April 19 with mentioned no need to pay RPRF as it is already paid. So just wait for an update.

All you need to do is send Vienna an email reply stating that you have already paid the fee and attach proof (receipt/payment form/copy of draft) to your email. I am sure you will receive a response confirming receipt of your payment and thats it, dont stress over a very small matter!

Not yet...My ECAS was last updated on March 21 with "Medicals Received"...and nothing after that.

online payment of rprf is for in canada applicants only,
you have to pay rprf at vo by bank draft,
you will see website of canadian high commission of your country.

No, it doesn't show any date. It just shows "Medical results have been received".

hey jagga,my ststus is in progress, and cio emailed me saying that your file is transferred to cpp ottawa, and pay your RPRF fee asap to avoid any delays, and my passport has to be 6months or more expiry to future to be eligible to stampped the pr visa..!! status changed to in process on 3 may email received may 9..! did you receive any email like this.?
