Tracking PNP July 2012 applications to Nova Scotia

I saw a folk from chinese forum, who applied on june 21st and in process on ecas sep 28th got ppr on 29th nov. i think we can prepare to welcome our ppr soon

What do you guys recommend, should i order GCMS through cic website directly or outsourced like visafile.info??

I shall be ordering them in 3 weeks when i complete 120days. Just to see when is the due date etc.

Just spoke to CIC agent regarding my file and travel. this is what she says, she says CPP-Ottawa is not the VO for my file, they are just helping with correspondence with other visa offices outside the country and my application is considered to be outside-canada application and will be dealt with the VO outside the country.

It was delivered on Nov 5th. Ecas update last Monday, and this Monday in process.

well, i asked her if i travel and i get the PPR what could be done in such a situation, because i shall be out of the country for more than 5 weeks, this includes business trip as well. She said she does not know anything about it.

she's correct. In fact, people at CIC call center are not very knowledgable about the department s rules and policies so we can't completely rely on their words. i have seen many people complain the same things about their service quality (inconsistent info, lack of knowledge, etc).


CIC really needs a makeover to replace almost everything in current system.

so in your situation I wouldn't also trust her about your VO.

When I got my medical request, it was sent by CIO Sydney and the category written on my medical forms was PV2, which means provincial nominee processed abroad (I am in Canada for the past 7 years, but my spouse is in India). However, according to the email, all further correspondence should be done with CPP-Ottawa. So, even I don't know what my visa office is, although I wrote Ottawa in my application form. I am also very confused regarding all this.

What was your category in the medical forms? Did you ask them that if not Ottawa, which is your visa office?
